Our relationship with Meyer Sound began in 1998 as a result of seeing so many requests for their equipment in the sound reinforcement business and observing their solid reputation as a premium loudspeaker manufacturer. Meyer Sound was established by John and Helen Meyer in 1979. From the beginning, they looked beyond cabinet design to create fully integrated systems that are comprehensive solutions, encompassing design and electroacoustic prediction. It is fundamental to the Meyer philosophy that sound systems be created holistically. As stated in the company brochure, "the entire system must be conceived, designed, tested, confirmed and manufactured as a whole to provide the optimum blend of audio fidelity, utility and long-term reliability." All Meyer Sound components - from the raw frame speakers to the drivers and amplifiers - are made in-house and designed specifically for each model, ensuring maximum quality control. Meyer is the only remaining loudspeaker company that is privately owned and operated, which means that John and Helen Meyer personally guarantee every speaker shipped from the factory. Meyer's reputation for superior sound equipment has garnered them an impressive list of clients, including the Broadway productions of Movin' Out, Wicked, Hairspray, The Lion King, and soon The Lord of the Rings.
